Happy Memorial Day at The Lazy Vegan

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Happy Memorial Day

It was a nice & quiet Memorial Day at The Lazy Vegan. I went to Cost Plus early in the day and bought a bookcase for our computer room, and while in the checkout line I was behind a woman with three very young children- two toddlers and a baby. She had a fancy double stroller and I commented on it and she actually showed me some of the features- part of the stroller came apart and could be used as a car seat. She was so engrossed in showing me things while juggling her baby that I felt sorry I had asked...maybe she thought I was in the market for a stroller (HA HA HA). I told her about the stroller scene in the movie Baby Mama with Tina Fey- when she goes shopping for strollers and the salesman tries to sell her the top-of-the-line stroller that came with airbags! Then the poor woman at Cost Plus told me she never gets to go to the movies...she'll look for it when it comes out on DVD. I left the store happy that my young child rearing days are over - now I only have three terriers, two hens, two donkeys and a cat to take care of!

Paco charges the dogs.
Paco can't understand why Toby won't be friends any longer.
Bravo- off leash again!!
Solo runs for safety.

Bravo is a bit nervous around the donkeys.

The boys help me clean up their manure- they absolutely love this chore!!!

"Hey Paco- let's look real cute for a second and watch her get her camera out!"
Note Luigi going for Paco's ankle.

The chore is abandoned for play!

Toby and his stupid stuffed bone.
The girls out searching for breakfast.
Big helpers. We cleaned up a lot today in the pasture!
