Hugs & Kisses at The Lazy Vegan

Today while touring houses for sale I saw a donkey that I would take home in a heartbeat...and actually, he IS available- he "comes with the house". He is in a very small area with two strange looking sheep (they are huge- some exotic kind) and a funny looking miniature horse. WAY too many little creatures crammed into a small pen with, I might add, only what appeared to be dirty water available to drink...which is also heartbreaking (and inexcusable). He looked like a smaller version of Luigi, and came up to see me when I went to the fence in a kind-of resigned manner- slowly walking. So I'm going to keep tabs on what goes on in the future with him...if the new owners take him in, or if he ends up going to a better home...or home with us!! Not out of the question. I won't let him stay in those conditions. I'll keep the blog reader posted! When I got home it looked like our donkeys were living in paradise in comparison...and everyone got a lot of hugs and kisses!
Never a dull moment. Randy commented that he thinks the donkeys are stronger now than a grown man. I'm not going to test that theory any time soon.

Toby and Paco.
I love my Paco- and my Weegie!
Bravo slinks under the fence.
Toby bares a bit of teeth...I wish he got along with poor Paco better.
Hugs and kisses time!

Don't knock it till you've tried it-- there's nothing quite like having a donkey rest his head on your shoulder.

The boys love the foreman of The Lazy Vegan! I bet that poor lonely donkey would love some hugs and kisses, too.

Snagging some leaves from the rose bush in the forbidden garden.

A joint effort.
Cute hoofs. Hooves? Hoofs or Hooves? Feet?
Couldn't resist taking another picture of the artichoke flower.

Randy made lunch again!!!!!

Leaving the house after lunch...everyone in their spot!
Even Boulder, comfortable near the house and his water bowl.
Dog and cat together.
My little ancient terrier!
