A Simple Tuesday at The Lazy Vegan

It was a simple day today...the animals were all happy and I was thrilled to discover that the Oprah Winfrey show was entirely about Prop. 2- for the whole show! She had a great format that allowed both sides to discuss their views along with video tours of farms where animals are confined and farms where they are allowed to roam free...and after seeing the contrast it is hard to imagine anyone still voting no on Prop. 2!! There was even a husband and wife team there who are raising their calves raised for veal "free range"...so they still can run around and be with their moms before being slaughtered...and there was a great free range pig farm with tons of piglets running around- SO cute! Also a cage-free chicken farm where the chickens all ran around and then went in at night (of course). I hope a lot of people watched the show- even though it was a "neutral" format, I thought it definitely did the YES campaign for Prop. 2 a lot of good!

Paco peeks around the Poplar tree.
Luigi is actually rubbing his butt on the Poplar tree! It makes a great scratching post.
Luigi watches Boulder walk by.
Playing after dinner.

Poor Weegie tries to find a blade of grass...we have to fence in the rest of the property and let the grass grow back on this side!
The dogs watched the Oprah Winfrey show, too!
A chicken at the cage-free farm hopped up on a car...and adorable piglets ran free at the free-range pig farm!
Bravo deep in thought.
Bravo deep in relaxation on the bed!
Very guilty looking puppies!
