The Big Burn Pile at The Lazy Vegan on Another Frigid Day

Solo naps in a moment of sun.
It was burn pile day at The Lazy Vegan- a HUGE pile that I should have taken a before photo of- but by the time I got home, the foreman had already struck the match! It was an all-day job for him while I bopped around doing errands- which was good, because burn piles make me nervous...especially this particular pile. Now we have all this space. I can't wait to make it the new donkey addition!
Boulder didn't like the smoke, so he stayed indoors.

Toby kept him company.

Although there was sun at times today, it was still freezing!

The boys helped me clean the barn. The usual type of help- they peed right where I cleaned!

And as usual, Paco was pretty pleased with himself.

One of the things I love about the foreman of The Lazy Vegan is the way he'll change paint colors on a whim. Here he did the kitchen in a fantastic violet/eggplant color! This is just the first coat. I love it!
Toby had his check-up today at the vet to see how his mouth is healing. It is doing great, and I got a dog tooth brushing tutorial! FUN!

Bravo checks out the remains of the burn pile.

You can just make out the foreman's head in the upper right.
It may not look like much, but it was a HUGE burn pile.

The foreman smelled like a campfire afterwards!
