It was a Good Friday on Good Friday at The Lazy Vegan

It was a good Friday on Good Friday today- a beautiful, warm day! The donkeys lounged around and Boulder got his little feline walks in while the dogs soaked up some sun. Everyone is all set for the annual Easter egg hunt tomorrow. Grandma Snap (a.k.a. the Easter Bunny) had the tedious task of filling countless plastic eggs, and tomorrow I'll pretend to be the Easter Bunny and will hide them! Actually, I saw a cousin of the Easter Bunny this morning on my run. He was ahead of me on the trail and I think he thought I was chasing him- I couldn't really explain that I was just out for exercise!
Solo, the great old pup against the blue sky!

He had a lot to say today.

My Beetle peeks behind the olive trees. Yesterday while driving, another white Beetle passed me and the woman waved and smiled. I'm finding out that's part of the "Beetle Mania"- to honk or wave when you pass another Beetle. I've only had this happen to me a few times, and today when a red Beetle passed me, I gave a friendly wave- and NOTHING happened, and I felt pretty sheepish. So maybe the idea is to just honk or wave when you pass a Beetle of the same color. I don't know. I don't have it all figured out yet, although I did become a member of the online discussion group about new Beetles!
Toby and the big cloud.

Bravo and Weegie spend a rare second right smack next to one another.

Hanging out in the corral after carrot treat time.

Getting the ingredients ready to bake Patty's belated vegan birthday cake!

Blue Jay on an oak tree.

The foreman is "opening view lines" and other stuff on the property and it is looking good!

Two turks came by for a visit this morning.

They looked like they were thinking of staying and having a party or something!

Casually heading up the path.

A special little table for carrot treat time!
