Homemade Vegan Pizza and Homemade Vegan Parmesan...at The Lazy Vegan!

Today I tried out the Kitchenaid stand mixer for the second time and made pizza dough! My first attempt at the dough didn't work at all- it wasn't rising. Luckily Karina came by just in time to reread the recipe and helped clarify that I was using way too much flour! So my second attempt came out great- it is so much fun to pile everything into the machine and watch the dough hook do all the work! No NEED to KNEAD! I also made vegan parmesan (recipe at bottom of blog) and homemade gingerale. All said and done, it took forever to make a fairly simple meal!
Homemade vegan parmesan!

Pizza dough itself is vegan- this recipe called for flour, olive oil, yeast and water. Then I added a bunch of toppings!

I even happened to have cornmeal on hand to sprinkle on the bottom of the pizza pan.

The Kitchenaid in action- this is the dough hook attachment!

While the Kitchenaid did the dough, the animals waited patiently.

The clothesline finally in use!!

We had to wait forever for the dough to rise, so we all went for a walk.

The foreman spent a long time power washing the deck and the driveway. Here Weegie watches to make sure he's doing a good job!

It always looks great after being power washed, especially after a season of leaves and debris resting on it.

As soon as I made the bed this morning, Bravo hopped up and fell asleep.
