Happy First Day of Fall and a Heat Wave at the Lazy Vegan!

As is common for this area this time of year, it was a HOT one this past week!  We celebrated the first day of Fall and then a heat wave hit.  The bunnies are tired of lounging around next to their frozen water bottles in the early evening (luckily, the house manages to stay really cool until late afternoon).  The heat makes the flies worse for the donkeys, too.  And the turkeys are suddenly coming around to drink out of the water near the barn - so it is affecting everyone!
Happy (HOPPY) First Day of Fall!
 Evening at the Lazy Vegan.

All this bun needs is a cape!
The weekly pose with Paco.  I love how serious he looks!

Deer family came looking for water, too.
 Rufus checking things out.
 Deck bun!

We went out to breakfast this past weekend at our favorite Slice of Life vegan restaurant!

 Donkey time.

The usual fun with Snap walking downtown!
At Taylor Maid with the town character's cute and pudgy pooch.
The Renaissance Fair was happening in Sebastopol - so much fun to see a few costumes!
Somehow my photos got out of order:  above, a beautiful evening walk, and below:  LOUIE!!  I love Louie so much and hope he finds the perfect forever home soon.  His roomie - another one - got adopted.  I think a bun named Theodore moved in next door - I'll find out when I go visit him at Sonoma Humane later this week.  It will be a shock to me when Louie does finally get adopted and I don't even want to think about not being able to visit him!

 An adorable lemonade stand!

 Weegie in the sunlight.
Bunny logic:  sleep next to the bed!
Had so much fun catching up with my old friend Gerry when we ran into each other downtown this week.

 Luigi and his shadow.
 Silly boys!

Flying turkey!
Rufus headed to the bedroom for his daytime napping session.

Window seat bun.

I love looking through the kitchen window and seeing a red barn!

Rufus!

HOT, blue sky day!

Hee haws!
Double dust bath time!
Chore time!
Always lots of poop to scoop!
