Wrapping up February at the Lazy Vegan

February came and now is leaving SO FAST at the Lazy Vegan!  One thing I am slowly learning about this month is that it is a bad time to buy hay.  Had twenty bales of hay delivered from one farm store and as soon as they left and I opened a bale, I discovered it was not good hay - it was the kind of hay that crumbles in your hand - old and dry.  The donkeys just nosed through it.  The bunnies ate it reluctantly.  So I asked the store to come take it away, but we had to wait a week for the weather to clear up.  I then went to a different store and hand-picked eight bales of orchard grass hay - enough to get through April, when fresh, good hay will be more readily available!
Goofing around with Paco in the barn on a rainy day.
 The weekly pose!

The foreman working on yet another project.
Donkey snuggles time!
Rufus loves to perch on things.
Relaxed rabbit!
Helping with laundry!

Look closely for the Great Blue Heron - a smaller version of the one who has been making the rounds - here he/she hopped up on the water feature for a better view before we scared him off!
Synchronized scratching of an itch.
Wasabi has been playing "the stacking game" lately.  Always a HOOT!

Stepping out!
Luigi isn't sure about Paco's fashion style.

Hugs!

This bunny can nap ANYWHERE, anytime.
So much fun having tea with my old friend, Jennie (and Pokey!).

Back to my hay story.  Took the truck to get eight good bales.  Trouble with that is that I ended up having to unload them at home by myself.  OMG - such a work-out!

This is what decent hay looks like - green with long stems!
Love my time at Sonoma Humane Society with the bunnies!  This is tiny Leopold, above.
Stanley chews towels!

Fern is recovering from a hurt leg.
OMG, Abigail likes to FLOP!

Another - more ridiculous - weekly pose.
Rufus flopped near Wasabi.
Almost two months now caffeine (and sugar) free!!  This natural grain drink isn't bad.

Snuggles from the foreman.

I got some rabbit fabric samples that I'm going to have made into patches on my jeans!
Fun time with Snap at Taylor Maid!
Snap with her Mah Jong game.
Sebastopol sights.

 Soaking up the sunshine.
Wasabi grooms Rufus - this sight never grows old!
